The YDQ Power 2-inch gas powered fresh water transfer pump is the perfect solution for agricultural chemical transfer applications, including clean water accessories for emergency water transfer or flood recovery.

This device is suitable for clean water, salt water, and waste water. It adopts a self-priming design and can maintain water filling even when not operating (it requires initial startup to operate. When the weather is dry, this pump can perfectly meet agricultural water and irrigation needs.

The unit is powered by a 212cc petrol engine and is designed with a low oil shut-off sensor and has a 3.6L fuel tank.

This portable transfer pump has a maximum delivery capacity of 20 cubic meters per hour, a total head of 20 meters, and a suction head of 7 meters. The pump has a 2-inch water inlet and outlet.

The durable steel frame combined with the unit’s compact design allows for convenient storage of your pump until the next time you need it.

Water Pump FAQ

Sump pumps are used to lift household sewage from a sump and deliver it to a gravity-fed sewer line or septic system.

The transfer pump creates suction on the water inlet hose and is used to transfer water from one place to another. They cannot be immersed in water.

Well pumps are used to pump water from wells or tanks less than 25 feet deep. They connect to the pressure tank system and operate automatically via a factory-installed pressure switch.

Gas engine pumps are used for outdoor water removal. The clear, semi-trash, and full-trash descriptions represent the types of debris that can pass through the pump without clogging it, such as dirt, rocks, sand, and sludge.

The hand pump must be turned on manually by inserting the plug and turned off by removing the plug (or using a switch, if equipped in this way). The user is required to stay at the pump and monitor the pump flow so that it can be turned off after the pumping task is completed; otherwise, the pump will run dry and be damaged. Automatic pumps are controlled by a switch connected to a float, electronic sensor, or pressure device. This type of pump can turn on and off on its own without the need for human supervision.

Non-submersible pumps, such as transfer pumps, well pumps, and sprinkler pumps, often require priming before starting to pump water. This means that the pump casing surrounding the impeller needs to be filled with water before it can begin to move the water. Locate the fill port (usually located near the outlet at the top of the pump), add water until full, reinstall the fill cap to create a tight seal, and turn on the pump. It may take 15 – 30 seconds for the pump to start up and start delivering water. NOTE – Make sure the fill cap and air inlet hose seal tightly and do not draw air into the pump; otherwise, the pump will lose its prime and be unable to pump water.

A pump can produce pressure to lift water, measured in feet of head, or it can produce flow, measured in gallons per hour – GPH. The pump can also use its power output for a combination of lift and flow. If the pump uses more power to lift the water, it means less power is used to produce flow. The pump head versus flow chart shows how the pump’s output flow will decrease as the pump uses more power to lift. Hose/pipe lengths, reducers, and elbows can increase head, thereby reducing output flow.
